XT.com: Can you give our audience a brief introduction of PQD ?
Phu Quoc Dog: Phu Quoc Dog is a decentralized social network and NFT platform for pets, where you can share photos and videos of your pet’s life. You can also help to rescue puppies, adopt a pet, find pet friendly places and take advantage of our useful pet services. Dog protocol.
XT.com: I have checked your project has got impressive ratings by some top crypto rating websites. How do you take these ratings?
Phu Quoc Dog: As we share blockchain technology articles on forums and participate in blockchain Hackathon events to let more people know about our project！
XT.com: Can you introduce the core team members of Phu Quoc Dog. We hear that the team is highly experienced, can we get some examples?
Phu Quoc Dog： Team members have development experience, including front-end development, back-end development, devops, etc. We have participated in the Vietnam blockchain. The team has in-depth research and accumulation of blockchain technology.
XT.com: Can you give our community a brief introduction behind the inspiration to build PQD?
Phu Quoc Dog：We want to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness
Besides that, we want to apply blockchain technology to the pet indusry. Specifically, in terms of technology, we want to research and apply Blockchain technology for IoT, AI pet products such as Pet Tag device, a smarthome for pets.
Pet adoption is said to have developed over the years. However, many areas of this industry are still unexplored. If Blockchain technology is applied to the medical field for humans, there will be many concerns because data can be stolen. But if used for pet data will be much better.
Imagine, you buy a baby Chihuahua with PQD coin. You will immediately have the baby’s information: like its parents, purebred or not, the health of the baby’s parents. During nurturing, the baby’s health records are stored, making care easier.
At the same time, there are smart products developed by PQD that will ensure complete pet care. In addition, it is possible that the NFT is the exclusive certificate of the owner of that Chihuahua baby.
Furtheremore, in terms of society, they will support the conservation of the rare Phu Quoc Ridgeback breed. It will then expand to support pet and wildlife protection facilities.
XT.com: In the Crypto industry, what do you think of the current state? What do you think that needs to be improved?
Phu Quoc Dog：While the number of merchants who accept cryptocurrencies has steadily increased, they are still very much in the minority. For cryptocurrencies to become more widely used, they have to first gain widespread acceptance among consumers. However, their relative complexity compared to conventional currencies will likely deter most people, except for the technologically adept.
With our project, we want to make cryptocurrency available not only for tech people, but also for general users through pet social networks.
A cryptocurrency that aspires to become part of the mainstream financial system may have to satisfy widely divergent criteria.
It would need to be mathematically complex (to avoid fraud and hacker attacks) but easy for consumers to understand; decentralized but with adequate consumer safeguards and protection; and preserve user anonymity without being a conduit for tax evasion, money laundering and other nefarious activities.
XT.com: How does the PQD team plan to tackle these issues to reach mass adoption?
Phu Quoc Dog：A cryptocurrency has no intrinsic value apart from what a buyer is willing to pay for it at a point in time. If you cannot stomach that kind of volatility, look elsewhere for investments that are better suited to you.
Or using a third-party vendor or custodian to maintain custody of the crypto on a blockchain and provide wallet management services that facilitate the tracking and valuation of the crypto assets.
Integrate crypto into the company’s own systems and manage its own private keys. (Consult your legal counsel to determine whether any license will be required to enable the transmission of crypto.)
XT.com: What is your timeline, and what can we look forward to from PQD ?
Phu Quoc Dog：The last month of this year, we build our own wallet and the moblile app for pet social network
-Next year, we are going to build IOT devices for Pets, join Appchain on Octopus Network and
list on Bitmart exchange.
XT.com: Anything else do you want to share with our community?
Phu Quoc Dog：Our first goal is still to develop a pet social network on a private blockchain platform. It will then integrate the NFT feature for each owner’s animal to be unique on the blockchain network.
And finally, we will consider integrating Defi arrays, integrating support for smart contracts from Ethereum’s ERC20 or Binace’s BEP20 platforms that can run on our blockchain.
We know it will take a long time to complete the above ideas, hope you and investors will join us on this path.
